OT: Non-OSS Positions Available

Realizing that many of us work in the non-F/LOSS world, I'm posting the following summary of two positions currently open at a Windows software company located in the East Valley.

1) IT Specialist
An emerging Security Software Company is looking for an experienced, Information Technology Specialist to join their team in the Phoenix, AZ area.  Candidate must have 5-8 years of relevant work experience, be certified Microsoft-Professional for Windows 2000-2003 MCSE and have Exchange Server experience. Candidate must have a BS in Information Technology or a related discipline, knowledge in all phases of IT development including, system architecture, system design and implementation, writing scripts, testing, debugging and integration of complete networks, data center environments, and certificates of knowledge in Network Systems and firewall applications. Expert knowledge of Internet and networking as well as security functionality of the network structures is required.  Some knowledge
of Unix and Linux is preferred.  Candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills and follow a logical approach when solving problems. Individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and flexibility to work off-hours to accommodate schedule. Candidate must be a self starter w/ creative problem solving abilities and the ability to handle stressful situations and work under pressure is a must.
This position is primarily a MS-Windows (please, no screams) systems administrator.

2) Software Engineer
An emerging Security Software Company is looking for an experienced, Software Developer to join their team in the Phoenix, AZ area.  Candidate must have 5-8 years of relevant work experience, BS in Computer Science or a related discipline, knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle including, architecture, design, implementation, coding, testing, debugging and integration for complete project development. Candidate must have experience in developing Distributed N-tier and Client-Server software. Knowledge of Internet and networking programming as well as secure programming techniques is a must.   Individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills, flexibility to work off-hours to accommodate schedule. Candidate must be a self starter w/ creative problem
solving abilities.  The ability to handle stressful situations and work under pressure is required.  Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
This position is primarily a MS-Windows C/C++ programmer, although C# and ASP.Net are helpful additional skills.
