system update

well, I did mny updatesuccessfully. so I thought.

when I started my computer this morning my internet wasn't working. (uh-ohhhhhhh)

I remember when I first started on HSI that I found some commandsd to enter on the net to get it working and I suppose theat the update 'reset' the commznd. Unfortuantely, I didn't write the string down and put it into my 'commands' filing system and I definately don't remember what the string was. 

Would someone help me out?
