. December WestSide PLUG Meeting - OOPs - Sorry

Sorry,

I went by GCC Monday (12/26) and found it closed. I happened upon a teacher
type as she was leaving one of the buildings. She thought GCC was closed
only for Monday, the holiday. I believed her.

The good news is that I took the advice of Adam Ballai and went by the
Denny's at 51st ave and Thunderbird just in case anyone else showed up.

Per Adam:

Theres a Denny's nearby GCC campus on 51st Ave and Thunderbird Rd.

Its not a corporate Denny's so they're pretty nice people. There is
wifi in the area, I was able to pick it up in the non-smoking section
without too much interference. I can bring a hi-gain antennae if they
let me put it up =)

Adam, good find. 8-)

The place looks very doable for a Stammtisch. They have a large booth in
the South East corner that might seat 8 to 10 and some additional tables
they could pull up for more seating. It looks like they have power plugs
(for dead batteries) at the end of some (many) booths.

One downside is that it might be a bit far North for some. Another down
side, for some (not me), is no beer.

Anyone interested in getting a WestSide Stammtisch going?

Anyone have a better place?

If interested, what nights?

George

Glad I finally checked my email (1062 unread) -- The GC campus is closed
until January. There's no way to host the meeting there tonight (at
least inside).

Sorry!
