1)    APPLICATION SUPPORT: $36/hour; Cactus/I-17
Phoenix location

Need a detailed oriented self-driven highly motivated
person to assume a production support role for several
J2EE applications within the Team.  The duties include
but are not limited to; day-to-day application support
and system monitoring, ongoing J2EE code maintenance,
interfacing with the customer, management of existing
change control processes, defect tracking,
integration/enterprise testing, development builds,
source control merge support, technical/application
architecture reviews, code reviews, development of
complex SQL queries, creation/manipulation of Excel
spreadsheets, file transfer support using both
FTP/NDM, and coordinating efforts among various
infrastructure support teams.

The successful candidate will have the following
qualities:

1.  Must be customer focused
2.  Must be a good problem solver
3.  Must have excellent communication skills and be
able to speak with nontechnical Customers
4.  Must have hands-on experience with J2EE
technologies and the ability to debug and review the
work of others
5.  Must have SQL experience with a relational
database (With emphasis on queries and JDBC
interaction versus DBA tasks.  However the candidate
should be familiar with good database design patterns
and concepts [referential integrity, primary keys,
foreign keys, many to many relationships, indexes,
normal forms etc...]).  We use Microsoft SQL Server
2000 and Oracle.

6.   Must have experience with Web Services, XML, and
SOAP.
7.   Would be beneficial to have experience using the
Eclipse IDE.
8.   Must have experience using one or more open
source tools and software platforms (Ant, Struts,
Jboss, Tomcat, etc.).
9.   Must have experience with one of the following
application servers (Jrun, Weblogic, Jboss, or
Websphere - ranked in order of preference)
10.  Must have used source control on one or more
projects (CVS, ClearCase, etc).
11.  The position is for six month contract to hire,
so they must have green cards or be citizens.

Optional qualities include:

1.    Quality assurance and stress testing experience
2.    Vignette Application Portal experience
3.    Epiphany experience
4.    JApplet and/or Swing experience (We are updating
an existing Swing application although we are not
using Swing for any new development.)
5.    Unix and scripting experience


2) HELP DESK: $18/hour; Cactus / I-17 location in
Phoenix
Need a detail oriented, self-driven, highly motivated
person with strong analyst skills to assume a level 2
production support role for client server
applications.  The duties include but are not limited
to; day-to-day application support and system
monitoring, ability to interface with the internal
business customer, monitor Pac 2000 queue and respond
to problem, perform defect tracking, support
integration/enterprise testing, Coordinate efforts
among various infrastructure and development teams and
respond to Service Level Agreements within established
guidelines.

The candidate will need to be flexible with
assignments and possess the ability to work both
independently and as a highly productive member of the
team.  Will need to be able to work evening and night
shifts.

support pager on a rotating basis.
3.  Must be able to work in a fast paced team oriented
environment.
4.  Must be flexible with assignments.
5.  Must have the ability to work well with business
and technical teams.

7.  Must have excellent communication skills and be
able to speak with nontechnical customers
8.  Must have strong analytical and problem solving
skills.  
9.  PREFER experience with client server problem
analysis tools relating to Weblogic, XML, and
databases
