Microsoft/SCO versus Linux - Ultimate Conspiracy Theory

Remember about 20 years ago when Microsoft owned Xenix, developed by
SCO? Then they transferred their interest back to SCO. Imagine if a
Microsoft mole with advanced knowledge of the SCO kernel (and maybe the
source code as well) were to contribute some of that code to the Linux
kernel. A couple years later, SCO "finds" their code in the Linux
kernel and files suit against the biggest player around. This would
have a devastating effect on Linux in the corporate marketplace, which
is precisely what Microsoft wants, and it paves the way for their
"purebred, certified" code to fill the vacuum as thousands of companies
dump Linux.

Microsoft wins.

Too far-fetched? Is it time for my medication?
