They have a valid point about devel/testing/cus_svc needing test boxen.
Unpatched boxen on the Net was a bad idea, though :).

m$ boxen should never be connected directly to the Net. Not even at m$, it
appears...

I wonder if Bruce Schneir's complaint about patching it taken out of
context. debian has certainly shown that updates can happen. Other GNU/Linu=
x
dists are also supposed to be good at this at this point.

The old article they point out talks about someone who didn't even look for
security updates and is two years old. Also out of context because the
issues with getting updates from GNU/Linux dists have largely been
surmounted.
