Sound card problem

I had a problem with my sound card on mandrake too.  It wouls show up in =
the=20
hardware list, but no sound.  I went to the mandrake support website and =
it=20
said to run kmix and turn the sound up.  Nice! The system was configured =
for=20
sound, but the sound was turned all the way down by default.  Anyway, I d=
on't=20
