I keep a knoppix CD at work for "rainy days". I used it yesterday while IT was
having problems getting some of our NT machines to play nice on the new
domain. (We just relocated operations)

The machine is a Dell GX-1 and knoppix never fails to boot, get an IP and
routing info (DHCP) from the MS network machines, and configure X correctly.
