Heat problems

Michael,

Some months ago, I began with the same issues with Open Office, as it
was installed from my Mandrake 8.2 disks.  The eventual solution was
that the Mandrake disks did not have the guts to stay put and operate.=20
I finally uninstalled all versions, files and directories that were
created (those items were hard to find and I had to install, delete and
install several times to figure out what it was doing). =20

I then went to Open Office's website, downloaded, installed per their
instructions.  It's runs flawless.  It's better than I anticipated even
though I love Microsoft Office and have been using MS Office for a long
time.

Just delete, download, install as specified and your OO problems will be
solved.
