Kevin, on the old 2.0 and 2.2 kernels your recommendation is correct. On
a 2.4 kernel 2x installed RAM is the minimum recommended swap size, if
you have <64M it is not unheard of to go 4x installed RAM. If a 2.4
kernel runs out of memory and swap it gets nasty.
