New install NIC problem

Please look at a previous post (in this thread) of mine where I list what's
in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0   and
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1

To be honest, I wouldn't know where or what to look for to see if pump is
being used.

Could you please tell me how to
