linux 7.3 installation frustrations

Hi Jeff,

The symptoms you describe indicate you are doing a text install.  Before
the point where it freezes, use Alt-F2, Akt-F3, Alt-F4, Alt-F5, and
Alt-F6 to look at your logs (Red Hat 7.3).  If using SuSE 7.3, include
Alt-F10.  BTW, there is no such thing as Linux 7.3 - Linux is at 2.4.20
or so.

Looking at the behind-the-scenes logs, you should see what is happening,
and maybe even an error message.  At least you will know what is
specifically happeneing so you can provide us with more information.
