I have a friend that runs NetBSD and who has a 160GB drive mounted on
/mp3.  When he partitioned it, NetBSD didn't have support for drives
that large, so he was only able to make a 137GB (IIRC) partition, but it
still worked.

Not Linux, but perhaps helpful.
