A+ Prep - was Potential PLUG Presentation?

Well, I have both A+ and Net+ cert since it was free and took literally 5 
minutes studying for both tests.  Comptia is supposed to be generally vendor 
neutral.  this course is usually 5 days long (I was computer services manager 
for almost 2 years at New Horizons Computer Learning Center) and I think that 
an hour or 2 discussing Linux would only enhance the course.  There is a 
LInux+ certification that they have at 
http://www.comptia.org/certification/linux/default.asp so to concentrate this 
particular course for Linux's <10% of desktops wouldn't be fair to these 
budding techs.  But to include a part of this class on Linux should also be 
mandatory, but minimal (I'm not trolling here just trying to be fair) and 
then they can take the Linux+ cert.  I'm not a big fan of Comptia certs, they 
are strictly entry level cert, not even as good as MS tests, but show a small 
amount of interest if not competence in the cert holder, and interest is 
important to me when I hire someone.
