Cox and E-smith

cox locks in Mac addresses - if you have two computer accounts and two
computers have already been hooked to the cox system, the modem has
already registered the mac addresses.

1. Try unplugging the cable modem for at least 5 minutes - plug it back
in and perhaps it will clear to allow your newly presented NIC/Mac
Address to work.

2. Call Cox and ask them to reset the modem to clear all cached Mac
addresses.
