they do kinda, but i installed KDE 3.0.1 on my mandrake 8.2 distro and not
including download it took me a whopping 20 mins to install.  Works great
too.  if you want 8.2, i can get you a copy and throw the rpms for KDE on a
cd and either directions or just help out.  if it's one thing i learned to
do well, it's install the latest KDE on a mandrake install as i've been
doing it since mandrake 7.1.
