/dev Permissions

On a similar not, have a look at devfsd if you havent already.  It's one
of the coolest things.  You have have it trigger programs to run
whenever a certain device comes online.... most useful for USB stuff. 
Also a good way to make sure that stupid /dev/dsp file is always there,
and doesn't go missing like some mandrake's will let it :)
