I know I am hated for this, but if the event grows beyond installing
GNU\Linux we probably shouldnt have Linux in the name. It should be Free
Software instead. The reason I make this distinction is two fold:

a. There are more free operating systems than just GNU\Linux (such as the
BSD's, GNU\Hurd)
b. The amount of Free Software that runs on windows is growing rather
quickly (Open Office, Mozilla, etc)

I think that (b) is very important, as you can market Free Software (that
is also xplatform) to folks not willing to switch away from windows (right
now) and in doing so you get them using software that will make a
transition much easier in the future.

From a marketing standpoint, a windows users who today has no notion to
move to GNU\Linux or even know what it is likely wont attend a GNU\Linux
event if its labeled as such, but they might very likely attend an event
where they can get 'free software'.

My Two Cents.
