Evolution on RedHat 7.2

I don't think it is a MS thing and I don't think it is a Linux thing. I
think you need to spend a little more time tweaking and playing before
throwing the whole concept away OR blaming the operating system. I know
that I felt great when I got past the dependencies problem with
Evolution, and it didn't take that long to figure it out. Sure it
wasn't as easy as installing something in windows BUT 1) it was made to
work with Red Carpet in Gnome otherwise it would be a big RPM or
tarball. and 2) it is version 1, give it some time if you can't figure
out how to get it to work, eventually they will make an easier way for
"Non-Red Carpet" people.

People on this list are more than ready to bash MS for any and everything, but completely overlook the lack of user friendliness of Linux. It should not take 2 college degrees, 6 technicians 3 consultants and a discussion list to install a simple piece of software. In this area Windows has Linux totally smothered.
