Relatively inexpensive multi-function printer for Linux?

Heh.. took me a while to find it (85GXi has 0 hits on google).  It looks 
like the HP OfficeJet G85Xi is an ink-jet.  I've had quite a few ink-jets 
and hated them all (very expensive re-fills, shoddy quality after awhile, 
loud, and slow) so I pretty much insist on lasers from now on.

Hmm.. if there isn't any cheap laser multi-functions, maybe there is a 
software package under linux that can tie together a scanner, printer, and 
modem to do the same thing...
