Somewhere in your /etc/lilo.conf file it will say=20
append=3D"hdx=3Dide-scsi"

If your cd-writer is hdd, then change it to say
append=3D"hdd=3Dide-scsi"
If your cd-writer truly is scsi, then remove the line all together..
Or paste the file here and others will beat up on it as well.
