Mozilla problems

Matt that sounds like its your mozilla directory (where the bin files
are kept). You need to find your dot-mozilla directory (.mozilla).
That's where all your profiles are kept. You may want to try to start
mozilla as root and / or other users and see if you have the same
behavior.
