Mozilla problems

How are you starting Mozilla?  If you are starting it from a shortcut of some
kind in your window manager, then you might want to open up a terminal and start
it from there.  This way you can see any errors that Mozilla is encountering
(maybe in can't write to the directory where it is trying to store personal
preferences, e.g. bookmarks, email, etc...).
