you might not know it, but this is a matter of personal taste whose
discussion at times are debated with religous furver...

Actually, there are a number of FAQ's that discribe the tradeoffs
between one distro and another...  I do not have one of the URL links
handy, but I think that would be a wonderful addition to PLUG's link
