It can be done. The easiest way to do it, provided you've got the drivers,
is to just set up a DSN in the ODBC setup and access it that way.

Or, if you so desire, you can directly embed the ODBC directly into the
application. But that's nowhere near as fun since it's not accidentally
alterable by users, which cuts into your maintenance fees (grin).
