Need something to convince your boss to switch to Apache?

I guess it could be seen as "elitist", but it's a safer spin than "Microsoft software is dangerous!"

I can't tell you how many friends have called or emailed in the past couple of weeks complaining of getting hit by the latest virus.  I
don't recommend Linux to them, but I do tell them that the viruses are targeted specifically at Microsoft software and their best bet is
to switch to something else like Netscape or Opera.  Some would say that's even anti-Microsoft, but the truth is, I don't know anybody
running non-MS software that's gotten a virus lately.  If Ford vehicles tended to "dissolve" in the presense of rain, even if you lived
in Phoenix here you'd suggest to stay away from Ford vehicles -- it's not anti-Ford, just pro-"I want to keep my car intact".

I'm not denying that somebody couldn't turn around and release viruses for everything on the planet, but from a statisticial standpoint,
it's extremely unlikely.  MS software is being targeted because it's a LARGE, OBVIOUS, an VERY EASY target.  Duh.  Just calling a spade
a spade isn't elitist.  But you may call it whatever you like.
