Cox now insists on DHCP protocol

This all makes ms glad I have Qwest VDSL. My RH 7.0 machine configured the DHCP automatically and has kept the same IP since it was first configured last Summer. It didn't even lose it when the machine was turned off for over a month while I was hospitalized. True, they don't guarantee a static address, but it sure doesn't change in reality.

Let me understand this - Cox *requires* the use of SMB/NetBEUI [with
Windows]? Where's the defibrillator?
