OT: Silly Windows Question

There is a great tool called Total Recorder that I use.  It will not only capture any audio stream, but will compress it into MP3 for you.  The downside is that since it's not actually capturing  the stream (it records the output of the sound card) if your system starts to get taxed for any reason, you may get skips in the recording.
