@home and news servers

John - Try setting your default DNS domain suffix to phnx3.az.home.com.
Make sure that is the right suffix and it hasn't changed.

After that you should be able to resolve mail and news automatically, using
just mail and news.

You can get your DNS domain for Cox from
http://home-members.excite.com/m_homenetworking/overview.html
and clicking on "View IP Addresses".  After logging in, go to View Current
Addresses, scroll to bottom and clik on Unix Users.  That will list
everything you need.
