Xine Termination

When I run xine v.0.9.4, it appears briefly for me and then crashes.
I see the following.

I am running Debian SID with Kernel 2.2.19.
Sound works fine (mp3blaster). Graphics work fine via X itself.
I can navigate around the mounted DVD as well.
I'm stumped for ideas! Anyone know what could cause the
illegal instruction?
