newbies linux adventure

I tried upgrading my RH 7.0 to 7.2 last night.  I know I have a flaky CD drive and was not able to boot from the genuine RH cd.  I made the boot disk (the dd on linux did not work, I had to use rawrite in a Win98 machine.) and attempted the upgrade twice.  Both times I got to the 6th package and it could not read it from the cd.  Will try more this weekend.  (Hopefully with a different cd drive.)
