no access to floppy or zip

[mazdaracer]

This looks a bit strange (but then everything does in Linux (and life) so 
far).  The laptop has the floppy like:

/mnt/floppy /mnt/floppy supermount fs=vfat,dev=/dev/fd0 0 0

Where did I get the sda0 from?  What is sda? Serial device?  Whick also makes 
me wonder about the zip now.
