Flash/Database I

Actually they do have a Flash Player for Netscape For Linux.  You can 
download it from www.macromedia.com.

As for a Flash database and/or map support, Macromedia has a product 
called Generator that dynamically builds Flash files (from a database or 
anything else).  I don't know if it works with Linux, nor if it supports 
any pre-built map functionality.  I think it runs on top of a J2EE 
server (JRun actually) so it mght work in Linux.
