Additional memory?

more memory is always good.  Worst case, linux just uses the ram to cache
sections of your hard drive.  At work I have 256MB, most of it seems to be used
to cache files that I commonly access on my drive (mp3's mostly) the rest is
shared memory (70MB) for X and what not.
