SuSE 6.4 and ZIP drive Problem

Hi Folks;
Trying to get my ZiP drive working in SuSE 6.4 and followed there manual's
instructions about modifying /etc/modules.conf by adding io=0x278 for the
second parallel card. The results are as follows:
	root@linux:/home/clay > modprobe parport_pc
	Note: /etc/modules.conf is more recent than /lib/modules/2.2.14/modules.dep
I have read the man page on modules.conf which does not mention anything
about modules.dep. I have looked for any info on modules.dep but have found
nothing. I have looked at modules.dep but it does not mean anything to me
on how it is to be updated to include the latest changes to modules.conf.
Any help will be appreciated.
