Not as much as it used to, but it still matters some, especially for those
of us who aren't guru developers :).

Also, if we can convince the rest of the world that Phoenix is the place
for software developers, then more of the infrastructure will be there and
more places will look here for developers, thus building a self-fulfilling
prophecy. After that we just take over the world and install Linux on
everybody's microwaves :).
