cable modem

I helped a buddy set up an OpenBSD firewall for Cox.
Very easy, and with ipfilter's stateful packet filtering,
very nice too.

One thing I've heard is to give the Cox chimp an NT
box for his "pretend install."  The reason is that
Cox' DHCP server/NT's DHCP client has "issues," so
the chimp will configure your NT system with a static
IP.  Dunno if that's still true or not, but couldn't hurt!

I too would be interested to know what cable modems
people recommend.
