The way I read it the main idea of this article is: let open source set up
their software clones, then when everyone is comfortable using this on the
servers we will tell the servers that they can only run this on M$ or get
out of .Net because we have a patent and will see them in court. If the
client base is sufficiently commited, then they will have to switch to M$
to keep the clients happy.
