Trent,

I've been really impressed with Wrox's "Begining PHP 4" and "Professional
PHP Programming". Also O'Reilly has a lot of really good books. I have
their PHP Pocket Reference.($10) which has all of the functions summerized
and categorized with their parameters. I also would highly recomment
www.php.net. They have a very complete resource section and extensive user
input at http://www.php.net/quickref.php.

A neat trick that they show is that you can download the Internet Explorer
5 Web Accessories package which includes the Quick Reference so that you can
open up browser window and just type "php " and the name of the function you
want to display and it will take you there. The link to do it is:
http://www.php.net/tips.php and scroll down to: Adding the Quick Reference
to Internet Explorer 5.

Good luck.
