The temporary fix of moving the web port from 80 to some other port has worked
for me.  My downstream is a little sluggish still, but at least I'm no longer
getting booted off the net.

set web enabled
set web port <some number>
write
set web disabled
reboot

P.S. Thanks to all who replied to my post about upgrading the 675 DSL Router.
