Has anyone used CIPE?

Yes - it works very well.

It works so well that I had to turn the Samba feature of domain logins to no
on the secondary site because it interfered with the domain login from the
remote site. VPND didn't ever work that well. Easy to setup, easy to
configure original session key. Gets my personal 3.5 stars.
