Emailing and Faxing content from a website

I am looking for software like what is being used on wired.com. It gives you
the ability to email content from the site to a specified email address. On
the same note, I have seen sites in the past that offer the same feature,
but you are sending it to a fax machine instead of email. If you know of any
software or scripts like this please let me know.
