Lynn,

Did you open the case at all? Or is the box sitting on a carpet? Random
reboots mainly result from the board or any one of the cards having received
an electrostatic shock or may result from some part of the circuitry
touching the frame or case.

You still may be able to fix by resetting the CMOS. The motherboard should
have a jumper on it that allows you to clear all settings by jumping certain
pins and holding for a few seconds. Sometimes this is even printed on the
board. Be sure to write down all of your BIOS settings so you can set it up
again later.

Good Luck. I just went through this with machine and finally ended up
replacing the motherboard.
