I will atest to the hosing of the filesystem when enabling DMA as I
experienced that with RH7.0. On a sidenote I installed Debian 2.2
potato today and while I was getting packages from the Debian server
my 18 mo. old daughter decided to push that amusing black button on
the case and shut down for me. I rebooted went to dselect install and
bada bing it finished it's job and it works great. I had to run fsck
as well but it works!
