\_ Well, for some reason I am having a heck of a newbie time with samba. I can
\_ smbmount win 98 shares no prob, but I cannot mount an NT share on our
\_ network for anything. Every time I try to mount an NT share I get:
\_
\_ ERRdos - ERRnoaccess
\_ login failed.

which version of samba?

using 2.0.6, I issue:

smbmount  //ntserver/bob /mnt/bob -o username=ntlogon,workgroup=ntdomain,rw

and it works fine. Some prior versions had slightly different parameter
passing, um (from memory):

smbmount  //ntserver/bob /mnt/bob -U ntlogon -W ntdomain
