Dan & Dana:

Do you have your DNS entries set up?  You make no 
mention of this.  You can set them up using Linuxconf
under GNOME's system-->Linuxconf-->"Name server
specification." Your ISP can give you their DNS
address
if you need them.  I hope this helps.
