There is one that comes with RH...I want to call it apmd, but don't call me
on it.

However, think of the risk you are opening up by getting the latest packages
(assuming they install them at the same time).

What if you get a bad package 'fix'? Or if some dimwit at RH decides to be
funny and put some malicious code in the update? This happened at MS a few
years ago...

If the script just goes and gets the latest software, then that's cool...if
it installs it at the same time, then, IMO, that isn't very cool.

2 count em 2 of my friends running linux discovered tonight their
machines had been rooted!  And the only reason was because they didn't
keep their packages up to date.  Does anyone know of a script that'll
get just the latest security fixes on RedHat?
