More answers re: Optra Printers.

Art Wagner worked with me at LaserWorks when we were selling
LaserMaster printers that did "generic postscript" replacement.

At Comdex one year, LaserMaster was giving away T-Shirts that
said "Just Say No to Postscript" and had a red circle with a diagonal
red stripe with Postscript written across the center of the circle.

It is something to think about the Postscript is a PROPRIETARY
page description language that is now somewhat a friend to the open
source community. LaserMaster was not an open source solution,
but was in the business of providing an ALTERNATIVE to the expensive
proprietary de-facto standard of that day.
