Running prog's as other users

If it's setuid, but we don't wanna go there ;-).

su username -c "command"

Also look at sudo. Great support for doing stuff as others. It also makes
it mostly safe to allow normal users to switch users for tasks and to dole
out privelidges to do stuff normally reserved for root...
