Actually, the entire government standardized on MS Office a while back
so that different departments could communicate without the constant
need to save documents in so many different foramts.  So the DOJ's
choice were actually quite limited.  They could go with Mac's running
Off98 or PC's running Winblows for Off97/2K.  Which one do you think a
government budget made easier to acquire?  (Bear in mind the support
costs in man-hours/payroll are usually budget seperately from
aquisitions.)
